- 1. Who was your strongest influence?
- Mr. Theodore told us about his brother, Johnny.
Johnny not only was a brother to Mr. Theodore,
but he was also a father figure and a close
friend to him. Johnny got Mr. Theodore involved
in cub scouts, church activities, and he also
encouraged and supported him to seek office.
Johnny was his greatest supporter. - 2. What was the most memorable experience that
you had at GHS? - Mr. Theodore had two memorable experiences at
GHS. His first memorable moment was when he
became class President. This accomplishment
inspired him to be in South Carolina politics.
Mr. Theodore also remembers Parker versus GHS
game when Greenville High won by one point.

- 3. As a father and grandfather, do you believe
that having a family has changed your views on
political matters? - Mr. Theodore believes strongly in family
influence. Mr. Theodore believes that one in
office with out a family might have a difficult
time making influential decisions. His family
led him to strongly support and take action in
South Carolina education. Mr. Theodore believes
that in order for a person to reach their full
potential, they must first be well educated.

- Carolina Boll Weevil Eradication Act-
- Passed on March 1985
- A farmer who fails to pay a fee used to rid crops
of the Boll Weevil with in a 15 day notice will
be forced to destroy his or her crops. - When the fee is paid the court of law must
dismiss any prosecution upon the credible proof
of the payment of the assessment.

- Victims Bill of Rights-
- Enacted on January 22, 1998
- The purpose of this act is to preserve and
protect victims rights to justice and due
process regardless of race, sex, age, religion,
or economic status. - The convicted armed robber is to serve a minimum
sentence of 10 years. - Nick Theodore also helped put the traffic law of
right on red into effect.
13Public Criticism on Hugo
- Republicans and South Carolina Public are upset
over Theodores absence from South Carolina when
Hugo hit. - Republicans use this subject against the
Democrats. - Regardless, Theodore flew back from his family
vacation early as soon as he heard the news.
