  Transit Benefits

• Important Notes
• Employees must purchase and register a SmarTrip
  card in their name online at www.wmata.com for

• Smart Benefits may be downloaded onto SmarTrip
  cards anytime
• during the month at any metro station. If
  benefits are not downloaded they will be
  credited back to ED.
• Lost or stolen cards should be reported to WMATA
  immediately
• 1-888-SmarTrip or 1-888-762-7874.
• ED Does Not Provide Retroactive Benefits

  to request a Sunflower account created.
• After account creation - An email will be sent
  with instructions on how to complete the online
  application.
• Complete application through AMS Sunflower
  System via EDCAPS
• All status inquiries should be sent to the email
  address above.
