3THE ROUND HOUSE
- This is the first hut we built.
- The roof is a reciprocal beam design.
- Walls include a cord wood wall with a pentagonal
window, a straw-bale wall and a wall made with
bamboo canes.

A-frame construction. This is overlaid with
pallet-wood and a screen of chicken wire.

8The Three Year Retreat
The inside is the size of a medium touring
caravan and is ideal for a solitary meditator

An alcove with a slab of marble, ideal for
keeping food cool.
An alcove lined with mirror pieces, designed to
be used as a candle stand, reflecting light into
the room.

A simple design feature made with a spiral of
copper-bar and a glass bead
An alcove cut into the straw-bale and shaped with
a sanding tool
