• As a boy Patrick lived with his parents in a
  small village beside the
• sea in Britain.

• When he was nearly 16 Patrick was taken from his
  home by pirates.

• Patrick was taken to Ireland.
• He had to work as a slave caring for sheep.

• After 6 years in Ireland Patrick escaped and
  left on a ship.

• Back home, Patrick had a dream and heard voices
  from Ireland saying Come and walk among us
  again.

• Patrick became
• a priest and
• studied
• in Rome.

• Patrick returned
• to Ireland,
• baptising people,
• ordaining priests
• and setting up
• Churches.

• Patrick spent about 30 years in Ireland, and by
  the time of his death, most Irish people had
  become Christian.
