- Available to all Connecticut residents,
regardless of income or heating type for 75 fee - Can save up to 200 annually on your energy bills
- HES specialists perform an energy assessment,
make on-the-spot improvements and provide
valuable information about money-saving rebates
and resources for additional upgrades
4Home Energy Solutions
- Trained HES technicians conduct a comprehensive
energy assessment during which they will - Perform instrument guided testing and
professional sealing including duct work - Lower water tank temperature
- Assess efficiency of appliances and insulation
5Incentives Offerings
- Install energy-efficient lighting
- Supply power monitor to evaluate amount of
electricity appliances and electronics are using - Supply/install faucet aerators and low-flow
showerheads - Offer rebates to replace inefficient
dehumidifiers, freezers, refrigerators, or
clothes washers (electric gas heat customers).
Double the rebate if used within 90 days of HES
services - Offer 0.50 per sq.ft. rebate for insulation for
qualifying walls and ceilings (electric gas
heat customers)

measures taken and deeper retrofit alternatives,
