• Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem
• In the name of Allah,
• the most Gracious,
• the most Merciful
• Ar-Rahman most Gracious (giving)
• Ar-Raheem most Merciful (forgiving)

• Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Alamin
• Praise be to Allah,
• Lord of all of the worlds
• Alhamdulillah all praise is for Allah
• Rabb Lord
• Alamin all that exists (man, jinn)

• Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem
• The most Gracious,
• The Most Merciful
• Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem are two of
• Allahs 99 Names. Knowing His
• names helps us know Allah better.

• Maaliki yaumid Deen
• Master of the Day of Judgment
• Maaliki master
• Yaum day

6

• Iyyaaka naabudu
• wa iyyaaka nastaeen
• You alone we worship
• You alone we ask for help
• Ibadah worship

• Ihdinas siraatal mustaqeem
• Guide is to the Straight Path
• Sirat path
• Mustaqeem straight

• Siraatal ladheena an amta alahim
• The path of those who have earned your favor
• Siraat path

9

• Ghairil maghduubi' alaihim
• waladaaleen.
• Not of those who have earned Your
• anger or gone astray.

• Aameen
• Ameen.
• Hadith When a person says
• ameen the angels also say Ameen
• and if his Ameen coincides with the
• Ameen of the angels his previous
• sins will be forgiven(Bukahri)

Allah talks to us as we recite

• Abu Huraira heard Prophet Muhammad say that Allah
  had said,
• " I have divided the prayer into two
• halves between me and my servant,
• and my servant will receive what he
• asks."

• My servant has glorified me ?

• You alone we worship, you alone we ask for help

• This is between my servant and me. My servant
  will get what he asks.

  what he asks for.
