Word Work
  • All of the following words have the same root
    biology, biomass, biome, biosphere.
  • Look at these words and determine the common
    root.
  • Using a dictionary, write the meaning of each
    word.
  • Based on the definitions of these words, what
    does the root mean?

  • Please answer each question to the best of your
    ability.

Poetry Exploration Stations
  • Each station will help you explore an element of
    poetry.

Poetry Stations Expectations
  • In groups you will complete activities in each of
    the stations.
  • Stay with your group and work as a team to
    complete the activity in the allotted time..
  • Observe the rule of 6 (your voices should not be
    heard from more than 6 feet away.
  • When your time in the station is up move QUICKLY
    and QUIETLY to the next station. You will have
    10 seconds to get there.
