Metallic Bonds

• Electron sea model all the metal atoms in a
  metallic solid contribute their valence electrons
  to form a sea of electrons
• These electrons are free to move from atom to
  atom (delocalized electrons).
• Metallic bonds form from the attraction of a
  metallic cation(??) for the delocalized electrons
