• Centralising Urological cancer surgery for RALP,
  RALC and RAPN as well as open counterparts to the
  HSBUCC
• Fellowship training in Robotics RCSEngland
• One of only 3 centres offering all robotic
  procedures

• Reducing surgical rota to ensure minimum numbers
  per surgeon are achieved.
• Opening of new surgicentre has enabled the
  Specialist Urology service to operate more lists.
• Specialist service able to offer a wide and
  comprehensive list of treatment options.

• The number of treatment options for patients with
  prostate cancer, incl different surgical
  techniques
• PSA testing different views re value of it as
  screening technique
• Developing robust survivorship pathways involving
  more primary/community support

Priorities for the Future

• Ensure continued improvements in cancer waiting
  times.
• Continue to develop the specialist service.
• To produce Prostate Cancer film for GPs and
  perhaps patient audience
• Consider new ways of addressing follow up and
  implement across Network
