Situation

• Ahh, can you believe it? My mom says, No more
  Internet after 11p.m. Shes crazy! These days
  everybody hangs out online. Ive got my own web
  page and blog and network. My friends and I are
  online all the time chatting. And everybody plays
  online games. She just doesnt understand.

• Its true I spent 200 hours last month playing an
  online adventure game. And its true I spend
  money online for games and music, but not for
  anything illegal like gambling! With my blog Ive
  even made friends in other countries and I dont
  spend much time on itonly a couple hours a day.
  I need a lot of time to update my personal
  network, but its fun!

• I do often stay online all night or all weekend.
  But thats normal. She says I have no friends and
  ruin my health by staying inside. She says Im
  addicted to the Internet. But its not true! I do
  have friendsonline. And Im looking for a
  girlfriend online, too. But I dont want to fight
  with my mom. So at 11 oclock I sign off. Then
  once shes gone to bed, I go back online. Im not
  addicted. Im not doing anything wrong. Shes the
  one with the problem!
