An Introduction
  • All our storage locations, its facilities and
    the processes involved in carrying out the
    Receipt, Storage and distribution activities
    are guided by well formulated set of guidelines
    , Controls, manualised systems and procedures
    designed and implemented by our corporation
    which are periodically updated and revised basis
    the experiences encountered and hence, the need
    is felt for bringing a uniformity, consistency
    in all areas and at all locations across the
    country.

  • Over and above all these guidelines, we are
    guided by the government of India through various
    ministries and its statutory bodies and it
    becomes imperative for us to follow and abide by
    the rules and regulations of all the Statutory
    authorities as the case may be for ensuring safe
    and correctly guided working.
  • All of our activities/locations are governed by
    various statutory requirements either at the
    design stage, pre commissioning stage, operating
    stages wherein many of those conditions set /
    guidelines given are to be adhered to .
  •

  • The training Module is developed for covering all
    Statutory requirements at all our Terminals , In
    land relay depots and Tap off points all of
    which are under the major Accident Hazards (MAH)
    installations . 
  • This module is also needed most
  • 1)For new assigned employees and as a refresher
    for the experienced
  • 2)As a check while Handing over and taking over
  • 3)As a guideline when new equipment, facility or
    processes are introduced
  • 3) When licenses have to be revised or updated.
  • 4) Provide latest information to all concerned.

    comprehensive and Organized with a view on the
    Statutory requirements to be ensured - Facility
    wise , equipment wise and process wise .

REGISTERS TO BE MAINTAINED/RETURNS TO BE SENT TO
THE FACTORY INSPECTORATE.
  • Registers that are required to be
    maintained in a factory and which are to be put
    up for inspection by Inspectors appointed under
    the Act.
  • Register of Adult Workers
  • Muster Roll (Attendance Register)
  • Leave with wages register
  • Register of Accidents and Dangerous Occurrences.
  • Bound Inspection Book containing the following
    details.
  • List of exemptions obtained or availed by the
    factory.
  • Particulars of work rooms.

  • Particulars of Painting, white washing etc.
  • Report of examination of pressure vessels or
    plants.
  • Particulars of Manufacture of gas holder.
  • Report of Testing of of Lifting Machines, chains,
    ropes.
  • Test reports of Dust Extraction System.
  • Register containing the names specially trained
    adult workers.
  • Certificate of stability of building and
    fixtures.

  • An abstract of the Factories Act Rules (In
    English local language).
  • Notice in each work room giving maximum number of
    workers who may be employed in each work room.
  • Names contact nos. of the Dy. Director / Jt.
    Director, DISH/ FACTORIES . Name of the Labour
    Officer / Commissioner.
  • Name contact nos. of the Occupier
  • CCOE License no.
  • Prohibited area (under officials Secrets Act).
  • Notices of prevailing minimum wages.

    of contractor submitted by contractor prior to

    principal employer to be submitted

    commencement / completion of work by contractor
    within 15 days of commencement/ completion of
    work.

    15days of commencement/completion of work.
  • Form VII 29 (2) Application for renewal
    of license.
  • Form XII 74 Register of Contractors.

    maintained for all contract workmen.
  • Form XV 77 Service certificate to be
    given to all contract workmen on completion

    contract workers employed on premises.
