• Saint Augustine (354-430) believed inherited
  depravity and predestination.
• Palagius (354-420/430) Adams sin affected only
  him infants are holy.
• John Calvin (1509-1564) developed the system
  known as Calvinism TULIP.
• Jacobus Arminius (1560-1609) rejected doctrines
  of John Calvin.

Total Depravity

• From this original corruption, whereby we are
  utterly indisposed, disabled, and made opposite
  to all good, and wholly inclined to all evil, do
  proceed all actual transgressions (Constitution
  of the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A., p. 21).

Unconditional Election

• By the decree of God, for the manifestation of
  his glory, some men and angels are predestined

  definite that it cannot be either increased or

Limited Atonement

• God did, from all eternity, decree to justify
  all the elect and Christ did in the fullness of
  time, die for their sins, and rise again for
  their justification (Ibid. p. 36).
• No Scripture is given for this just a
  necessary inference from Predestination (no
  purpose in atonement for the lost).

Irresistible Grace

Conclusion

• Calvinism has permeated more religious
  denominations, and cults, than any other false
  system of religion.
• Some only accept parts of the system, but it
  logically is a complete system.
• None of it is Scriptural!
