Academic Probation
  • Any undergraduate student with a CSUB GPA or
    Overall GPA falling below 2.00 shall be placed on
    Academic Probation.
  • Each class level (freshmen, sophomore, junior,
    and senior) shall have separate criteria for
    determining movement between academic standings.

Academic Probation
  • NSM students will have an advising-probation hold
    placed on account once grades have posted if GPA
    is below 2.0
  • Probation emails will be sent with faculty
    advisor information and NSM Probation Contract
  • Complete contract and meet with faculty advisor
  • Submit contract to the NSM Student Center to
    remove hold
  • Attend REACH Workshop through the Student Success
    and Retention Center.
