3A New Contactless Payment System
- Works just like a regular credit card transaction
except - Card/device is tapped on the reader
- Card stays in customers hand
- Reader lights up and beeps
- Authorized just like magnetic stripe transactions

4How MasterCard PayPass Works
- Ring up the transaction as you would any other
credit card transaction, i.e., press credit - Customer taps the card/device on the reader
- Reader will light up and beep
- Transaction will process
- Once authorized, the transaction is complete
- No signature required for MasterCard transactions
under your floor limit or your specific guidelines

will work on the PayPass reader - Check the front or back of the card for the

- Tapped transactions under your floor limit or
your specific guidelines do not require a
signature or receipt for MasterCard transactions - Tapped transactions over your floor limit or your
specific guidelines will require a signature - Printing of customer receipts for any amount
depends on your POS system
