6.(ii) Solar Heating

• This could be built into a Pizza box to be
  portable
• Ideal for simple experiments to research effect
  on heat absorption of colour, types and thickness
  of insulation, rate of water flow etc

7. Wallace and Gromit Challenge
The Great Marble Run Timer

• Construct a channel that will transfer a marble
  the greatest distance and so take the longest
  possible time to reach the switch and set off the
  buzzer.
• The completed device should be presented to the
  WG Patent Team who will evaluate its performance
  as a WG Timer

RULES The marble run must be confined to the
pizza box The marble should roll continuously
once it is released. The marble should trigger a
switch at the end of the run so that the buzzer
can act as a timing device The device should be
decorated appropriately
