Subjects, Nouns, Predicates and Verbs
  • We are all in eighth grade now and know that a
    subject is basically a noun. Subjects and nouns
    refer to the person, place, thing or idea that
    the sentence is about. Predicates are likened to
    verbs. They tell you what the subjects/nouns are
    doing or has done throughout the sentence.
