What is Blu-Ray Disk?

• It is an optical disc storage media format.
• Its main uses are high-definition video and data
  storage.
• The disc has the same dimensions as a standard
  DVD or CD.
• Uses a 405nm blue laser to read/write data.
• Blu-ray Disc was developed by the Blu-ray Disc
  Association.

• High storage capacity
• 25GB (single layer)

CD Scratches

• Problem
• Scratches make the laser divert and hence you
  cannot read the disk.
• Solution
• Try cleaning it first dirtiness could be the
  cause.
• Repair the disk by applying some solution on the
  surface.
• If nothing works, try to prevent it from being
  scratched in the first place.
