    above or
  • in foreign language, non doctrinal religion or
    philosophy)
  • 2 years of social science
  • Graduate from high school in 8 semesters
  • Minimum gpa in your core courses
  • Meet test requirements according to the sliding
    scale

    religion or philosophy)

  • Minimum 2.0 gpa in your core courses
  • Achieve a combined Critical Reading and Math of
    820 or sum ACT score of 68.

NCAA Eligibility Center
  • Students must register with the Eligibility
    Center at www.eligibilitycenter.org by the end
    of their junior year and send a final transcript
    after graduation.
  • The Eligibility Center will certify the academic
    and amateur credentials of all college bound
    student athletes who wish to compete in NCAA
    Division I or II
  • Based on 3 areas
  • Academic Core Courses
  • GPA
  • SAT or ACT Scores
  • Utilize www.corecoursegpa.org to figure your NCAA
    Division I and II eligibility.

  • Headcount Sports
  • Only a certain number of athletes on a team can
    be on scholarship
  • Mens Basketball 13, Football 85 (limit 25/year)
  • Equivalency Sports
  • Have a certain number of scholarships and are not
    allowed to give out more money than what would
    equal the allotment for their institution
  • Baseball 11.7, Mens Lacrosse, 12. 6, Womens
    Soccer 14

Understanding Scholarships
  • National Letter of Intent
  • For students receiving an athletic scholarship
  • States the universitys commitment to you and
    your commitment to the university
  • You are signing with the institution, not the
    coach
  • Lasts one academic school year and is renewable
  • Be sure to look into the teams signing dates
  • Be sure to read the letter CAREFULLY!!
  • You still must apply to the college, it is not a
    guarantee of admission
  • You must be academically eligible for the
    association you are signing with
