24Lev 12 whole chapter
- 1 ADONAI said to Moshe, 2 "Tell the people of
Isra'el 'If a woman conceives and gives birth to
a boy, she will be unclean for seven days with
the same uncleanness as in niddah, when she is
having her menstrual period. 3 On the eighth day,
the baby's foreskin is to be circumcised. 4 She
is to wait an additional thirty-three days to be
purified from her blood she is not to touch any
holy thing or come into the sanctuary until the
time of her purification is over.
25Lev 12 whole chapter
- 5 But if she gives birth to a girl, she will be
unclean for two weeks, as in her niddah and she
is to wait another sixty-six days to be purified
from her blood. 6 "'When the days of her
purification are over, whether for a son or for a
daughter, she is to bring a lamb in its first
year for a burnt offering and a young pigeon or
dove for a sin offering to the entrance of the
tent of meeting, to the cohen.
26Lev 12 whole chapter
- 7 He will offer it before ADONAI and make
atonement for her thus she will be purified from
her discharge of blood. Such is the law for a
woman who gives birth, whether to a boy or to a
girl. 8 If she can't afford a lamb, she is to
take two doves or two young pigeons, the one for
a burnt offering and the other for a sin
offering the cohen will make atonement for her,
and she will be clean.'" END (Baruch HaShem)
272 Kings 442-519
- 42 A man came from Ba'al-Shalishah bringing the
man of God twenty loaves of bread made from the
barley firstfruits and fresh ears of grain in his
sack. Elisha said, "Give this to the people to
eat." 43 His servant said, "How am I to serve
this to a hundred men?" But he said, "Give it to
the people to eat for ADONAI says that they will
eat and have some left over."
282 Kings 442-519
- 44 So he served them, and they ate and had some
left over, as ADONAI had said. 1 Na'aman,
commander of the king of Aram's army, was highly
respected and esteemed by his master because
through him ADONAI had brought victory to Aram.
But although he was a brave warrior, he also
suffered from tzara'at. 2 Now on one of their
raids into Isra'el's territory, Aram carried away
captive a little girl, who became a servant for
Na'aman's wife. 3 She said to her mistress, "I
wish my lord could go to the prophet in Shomron!
He could heal his tzara'at."
292 Kings 442-519
- 4 Na'aman went in and told his lord, "The girl
from the land of Isra'el said such-and-such." 5
The king of Aram said, "Go now, and I will send a
letter to the king of Isra'el." He set out,
taking with him 660 pounds of silver, 6,000
pieces of gold and ten changes of clothes. 6 He
brought the king of Isra'el the letter, which
said, "When this letter reaches you, you will see
that I have sent my servant Na'aman to you, so
that you can heal his tzara'at."
302 Kings 442-519
- 7 When the king of Isra'el finished reading the
letter, he tore his clothes. "Am I God, able to
kill and make alive," he asked, "so that he sends
me a man to heal of tzara'at? You can see that he
is only seeking an excuse to quarrel with me." 8
But when Elisha the man of God heard that the
king of Isra'el had torn his clothes, he sent a
message to the king "Why did you tear your
clothes? Just have him come to me, and he will
know that there is a prophet in Isra'el."
312 Kings 442-519
- 9 So Na'aman came with his horses and chariots
and stood at the door of Elisha's house. 10
Elisha sent a messenger to him, who said, "Go,
and bathe in the Yarden seven times. Your skin
will become as it was, and you will be clean." 11
But Na'aman became angry and left, saying, "Here
now! I thought for certain that he would come out
personally, that he would stand, call on the name
of ADONAI his God and wave his hand over the
diseased place and thus heal the person with
tzara'at.
322 Kings 442-519
- 12 Aren't Amanah and Parpar, the rivers of
Dammesek, better than all the water in Isra'el?
Why can't I bathe in them and be clean?" So he
turned and went off in a rage. 13 But his
servants approached him and said, "My father! If
the prophet had asked you to do something really
difficult, wouldn't you have done it? So, doesn't
it make even more sense to do what he says, when
it's only, 'Bathe, and be clean'?"
332 Kings 442-519
- 14 So he went down and immersed himself seven
times in the Yarden, as the man of God had said
to do and his skin was restored and became like
the skin of a child and he became clean. 15
Then, with his whole retinue, he returned to the
man of God, went and stood before him, and said,
"Well, I've learned that there is no God in all
the earth except in Isra'el therefore, please
accept a present from your servant."
342 Kings 442-519
- 16 But Elisha answered, "As ADONAI lives, before
whom I stand, I will not accept it." And despite
his urging him to take it, he refused. 17 So
Na'aman said, "If you won't take it, then please
let your servant be given as much earth as two
mules can carry because from now on, your
servant will offer neither burnt offerings nor
sacrifices to other gods, but only to ADONAI.
352 Kings 442-519
- 18 Except this, and may ADONAI forgive your
servant for it when my master goes into the
temple of Rimmon to worship there, and he leans
on my hand, and I bow down in the temple of
Rimmon - when I bow down, may ADONAI forgive your
servant for this." 19 Elisha said to him, "Go in
peace." Na'aman had gone only a short distance
from him. END (Baruch HaShem)
36Luke 1038 1111
- 38 On their way Yeshua and his talmidim came to a
village where a woman named Marta welcomed him
into her home. 39 She had a sister called Miryam
who also sat at the Lord's feet and heard what he
had to say. 40 But Marta was busy with all the
work to be done so, going up to him, she said,
"Sir, don't you care that my sister has been
leaving me to do all the work by myself?" 41
However, the Lord answered her, "Marta, Marta,
you are fretting and worrying about so many

45Todays Joke

about his mortality, goes to consult a Psychic
about the date of his death. Looking into her
crystal ball she then looks at him and says "You
will die on a Jewish holiday." - "Which one?'" Obama asks nervously.
46Todays Joke
- She said, "It doesn't matter, whenever you die,
it'll be a Jewish holiday."
47Messianic Judaism 101Class 6
48Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Today were going to look at another Commandment.
- Yeaaaaaa!
49Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- This morning were going to look at the
Commandment to keep Rosh Chodesh (New Moon)
New Moon
50Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Now, theres always a danger when I teach this to
be labeled as teaching New Age or perhaps
Wickism. - But thats because this is a Commandment that is
foreign to Christianity as many Commandments are.
51Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Also any teaching thats about the moon or the
sun or the planets sounds like New Age type
material.
52Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- But we have to understand that Satan has hijacked
the information concerning the good things that - G-d has created.
53Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- The Adversary has taken them and perverted them
in the understandings of men. - Well, were going to take what Satan has hijacked
and put things back in order. - As we say in HebrewTikkun Olam! (Repair the
Universe!)
54Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- So what does Rosh Chodesh actually mean?
- Rosh means head and Chodesh means month so it
literally means Head of the Month.
??? ????
55Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- The word Chodesh is taken from the word Chadash
in Hebrew which means New. - Your familiar with that word when we say Brit
Chadasha - (New Covenant/New Testament
??????? ????????
Brit Chadasha
56Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Rosh Chodesh is the name for the first day of
every month in the Hebrew calendar, marked by the
appearance of the New Moon. - It is considered a minor (yet very important)
holiday.
57Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- We read about it as far back as the Book of
Numbers - Numbers 1010
- "And on your joyous occasions - your fixed
festivals and new moon days - you shall sound the
trumpets over your burnt offerings and your
sacrifices of well-being."
58Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Numbers 2811 as well
- 11 "'At each Rosh-Hodesh of yours, you are to
present a burnt offering to ADONAI consisting of
two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs in
their first year and without defect (Complete
Jewish Bible) - So its right there in Torah. It goes wayyyy
back. - This wasnt some new thing that man made up.
- This is in the writings of Moses.
59Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Its even talked about in the New Testament in
Col 216 - 16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in
drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new
moon, or of the sabbath days 17 Which are a
shadow of things to come.
60Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Im aware that this particular passage is usually
used by Christians to say that we no longer have
to keep kosher or celebrate Sabbaths or New
Moons. - One Christian writer states this
- Colossians 214-16 so clearly states the weekly
Sabbath was nailed to cross and abolished that
Sabbatarians are at a loss to know what to do
with it!
61Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Messianics dont read it that way at all. Because
thats not what its saying. - Many Christians think its saying that because
they assume that this Book was written to
Gentiles. - It wasnt. ?
62Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Like ALL the Books in the Bible they were written
to Jews (some portions within those books were
written about Gentiles).
63Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- What this particular passage is doing is
encouraging Believers to keep kosher and to keep
Rosh Chodesh and to keep His (The Lords)
festivals and to not worry if the heathen try to
judge them for that.
64Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- In fact it says these things are a shadow of
things to come. - Were told in Scripture that the Sabbath and the
New Moon festivals will go on through eternity.
65Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- 2 Chronicles 24
- Behold, I build an house to the name of the LORD
my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before
him sweet incense, and for the continual
shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning
and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new
moons, and on the solemn feasts of the LORD our
God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.
66Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Well, that's just to Israel, not us Gentiles.
- You better hope youre a part of Israel because
the Bible says this
67Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Ezek 437 (KJV) And he said unto me, Son of man,
the place of my throne, and the place of the
soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst
of the children of Israel for ever. - It doesnt say Hell be dwelling in the midst of
the Gentiles. - If youd like to be a part of Israel, you can
sign up at the rear of the building.
68Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- The only way to be a part of Israel is to start
keeping His Commandments.
69Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- So keeping the new moon festivals are pretty
important. - G-ds appointed times are one reason why the
stars were even created!
70Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Gen 114 And God said, "Let there be lights in
the expanse of the sky to separate the day from
the night, and let them serve as signs to mark
seasons and days and years. - Pretty important Id say.
- (Our entire calandar is set up on the lunar cycle
so every new moon falls on the first day of the
Hebrew month)
71Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Well Gen 114, thats just one verse. Maybe its
not that important. - David thought it was pretty important
- (1 Sam 205) And David said to Jonathan, "Indeed
tomorrow is the New Moon, and I should not fail
to sit with the king to eat. But let me go, that
I may hide in the field until the third day at
evening.
72Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- At that point, King Saul had already attempted to
kill David with a javilin. - So even though David had almost lost his life, he
still didnt want to miss a New Moon Festival. - Pretty important!
73Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- King Saul also expected David to be at the
festival too - 1 Sam.
- 24 So David hid himself in the field and when
the new moon was come, the king sat him down to
eat meat. 25 And the king sat upon his seat, as
at other times, even upon a seat by the wall and
Jonathan arose , and Abner sat by Saul's side,
and David's place was empty . 26 Nevertheless
Saul spake not any thing that day for he thought
, Something hath befallen him, he is not clean
surely he is not clean.
74Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- King Saul thought the only reason in the world
David wouldnt be there was because something
mustve befallen him or David mustve been
unclean.
75Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Now, the church says that new moons arent
important. - So, lets take a look at the Bible and see what
G-d thinks about that.
76Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Exodus 402
- "On the first day of the first month you
shall set up the tabernacle of the tent of
meeting.
77Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- The Tabernacle! Thats where
- G-d dwelled!
- It was the precursor to His Holy Temple!!!
78Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- When was it supposed to be set up?
- On the New Moon!
79Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- The Feast of Trumpets is always on the New Moon -
the first day of the seventh month - Leviticus 2324
- "Say to the people of Israel, In the seventh
month, on the first day of the month, you shall
observe a day of solemn rest, a memorial
proclaimed with blast of trumpets, a holy
convocation."
80Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Call me crazy, it looks pretty important so far!
81Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- The L-RD had Aaron go up on Mt Hor to die on a
New Moon - Numbers 3338
- "Then Aaron the high priest went up to Mount Hor
at the command of the LORD, and died there in the
fortieth year after the children of Israel had
come out of the land of Egypt, on the first day
of the fifth month."
82Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
83Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Several times it (The New Moon) was obviously at
a gathering of the Congregation of Israel - not
just a by-the-way day. - Deuteronomy 13
- "Now it came to pass in the fortieth year, in the
eleventh month, on the first day of the month,
that Moses spoke to the children of Israel
according to all that the LORD had given him as
commandments to them,"
84Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- We read again in Numbers 118
- "and they assembled all the congregation together
on the first day of the second month and they
recited their ancestry by families, by their
fathers' houses, according to the number of
names, from twenty years old and above, each one
individually."
85Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- It was a New Moon day when Moses went into the
Tabernacle to commune with G-D. - Numbers 11
- Now the LORD spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of
Sinai, in the tabernacle of meeting, on the first
day of the second month, in the second year after
they had come out of the land of Egypt.
86Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- This observance of the New Moon continued on. We
read that The prophets of Israel had circuits set
up on which they would make their rounds.
87Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Elisha the prophet used to, on his regular
rounds, pass through the town of Shunem.
88Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- The story goesA wealthy woman of the town had
her husband build a "prophet's chamber" for
Elisha so he could rest on his way. Because of
her kindness Elisha asked her what she would like
him to do for her - and found she had no child.
Elisha told her that she would have a child when
he came by the next year - and she did bear a son.
89Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- A few years later the son died - the mother laid
him on Elisha's bed and prepared to go to the
prophet. What her husband said to her is very
enlightening concerning the customs of Sabbath
and New Moons and the Prophets.
90Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- 2 Kings 422-23
- 22 Then she called to her husband, and said,
"Please send me one of the young men and one of
the donkeys, that I may run to the man of God and
come back." - 23 So he said, "Why are you going to him today?
It is neither the New Moon nor the Sabbath." And
she said, "It is necessary."
91Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Then Elisha came and by the power of G-D raised
the dead lad to life. - We even see the new moon celebrated during the
Last Days.
92Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- The third Temple of the L-RD (the Millennial
Temple) is described in Ezekiel - and the New
Moon celebrations are there also
93Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Ezekiel 461-3
- 1 "Thus says the Lord GOD The gate of the inner
court that faces east shall be shut on the six
working days but on the Sabbath day it shall be
opened and on the day of the New Moon it shall be
opened. - 2 The prince shall enter by the vestibule of the
gate from without, and shall take his stand by
the post of the gate. The priests shall offer his
burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he
shall worship at the threshold of the gate. Then
he shall go out, but the gate shall not be shut
until evening. - 3 The people of the land shall worship at the
entrance of that gate before the LORD on the
Sabbaths and on the New Moons.
94Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- We read again in Isaiah
- Isaiah 6620-24
- 20 And they shall bring all your brethren from
all the nations as an offering to the LORD, upon
horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon
mules, and upon dromedaries, to my holy mountain
Jerusalem, says the LORD, just as the Israelites
bring their cereal offering in a clean vessel to
the house of the LORD. - 21 And some of them also I will take for priests
and for Levites, says the LORD. - 22 "For as the new heavens and the new earth
which I will make shall remain before me, says
the LORD so shall your descendants and your name
remain. - 23 From New Moon to New Moon, and from Sabbath to
Sabbath, all flesh shall come to worship before
me, says the LORD. - 24 "And they shall go forth and look on the dead
bodies of the men that have rebelled against me
for their worm shall not die, their fire shall
not be quenched, and they shall be an abhorrence
to all flesh."
95Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Theres a lot of Scripture that has to be
overlooked in order to do away with the
observance of the New Moon. - You may have also noticed in some of the passages
weve already read
96Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- where the New Moon is tied to the Sabbath
- Col 216
- 2 Chron. 24
- 2 Kings 422-23
- Ezekiel 461-3
- Isaiah 6620-24
97Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- There are even more passages that tie these two
together. - Amos 8 1-6
- 1 Here is what Adonai ELOHIM showed me there in
front of me was a basket of summer fruit. 2 He
asked, "'Amos, what do you see?" I answered, "A
basket of summer fruit." Then ADONAI said to me,
"The end has come for my people, I will never
again overlook their offenses. 3 When that time
comes, the songs in the temple will be wailings,"
says Adonai ELOHIM. "There will be many dead
bodies everywhere silence will reign." 4 Listen,
you who swallow the needy and destroy the poor of
the land! 5 You say, "When will Rosh-Hodesh be
over, so we can market our grain? and Shabbat, so
we can sell wheat?" You measure the grain in a
small eifah, but the silver in heavy shekels,
fixing the scales, so that you can cheat, 6
buying the needy for money and the poor for a
pair of shoes, and sweeping up the refuse of the
wheat to sell!"
98Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- So no buying or selling on the new moon but
there is a difference between a regular Shabbat
and the New Moon - We can cook.
99Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- When we see meat mentioned, we know it was
cooked. - 1 Sam. 24 So David hid himself in the field and
when the new moon was come, the king sat him down
to eat meat. - So they were obviously feasting
- Everything else is treated like a Sabbath.
100Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- The point is to have a good time, its prescribed
to drink wine for those who wish to and even
dance, but not in the Synagogue.
101Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Also, always remember that if you have to work at
your job on Holy Days, its ok, thats a higher
mitzvah to sustain ones self.
102Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Rosh Chodesh falls every month on a different
day. If youre working for someone else, you wont
get all those days off.
103Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- But when you get home, make it a special time
with the time you have left and dedicate it to
G-d. - Separate the Holy from the mundane and G-d will
honor that.
104Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- If youd like to know the prayer, Ill post the
information for Kiddush Levana on the website. - Theres a prayer we say while standing outside
and we bless the L-rd for the moon.
105Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- We dont bless the moon, just like we dont bless
the food, we bless G-d FOR the food. - We dont pray TO the moon either, thats bad.
Moon god bad
106Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Ive been mistaken for doing that before. Oh my
goodness, hes praying to the moon. - No, no more then Im praying to the food when I
bless G-d for that.
Food god bad
107Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Where else do we see a connection between the
Sabbath and Rosh Hodesh? - How about 2 Chron. 8 starting at verse 11?
108Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- 11 Shlomo brought up Pharaoh's daughter from the
City of David to the house he had built for her
because he said, "No wife of mine is going to
live in the house of David king of Isra'el, since
the buildings where the ark of ADONAI has been
are holy." 12 Then Shlomo offered burnt offerings
to ADONAI on the altar of ADONAI that he had
built in front of the vestibule, 13 as each day
required, offering according to the mitzvah of
Moshe on Shabbats, at Rosh-Hodesh and at the
designated times three times a year - the
festivals of Matzah, Shavu'ot and Sukkot.
109Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- So here we see it in the same sentence not only
with Shabbat, but with the Shalosh Regalim, three
pilgrimage holidays
110Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- The three days when every Jewish male had to go
to Jerusalem no matter where in the world they
were. - Pretty important Id say!
111Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- And who told the people to keep the New Moon
festival? - G-d right, but not Jesus?
112(No Transcript)
113Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Jesus and The Father are the same G-d.
- Jesus commanded us to keep Rosh Chodesh forever.
- Jesus and the Father CANT have 2 separate
agendas!
114Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Beware of the three headed god in your theology.
- Where else do we read of Rosh Chodesh?
- In Ezra chapter 3
115Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- EZRA 3
- 1 And when the seventh month was come , and the
children of Israel were in the cities, the people
gathered themselves together as one man to
Jerusalem. 2 Then stood up Jeshua the son of
Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and
Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his
brethren, and builded the altar of the God of
Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it
is written in the law of Moses the man of God. 3
And they set the altar upon his bases for fear
was upon them because of the people of those
countries and they offered burnt offerings
thereon unto the LORD, even burnt offerings
morning and evening. 4 They kept also the feast
of tabernacles, as it is written , and offered
the daily burnt offerings by number, according to
the custom, as the duty of every day required 5
And afterward offered the continual burnt
offering, both of the new moons, and of all the
set feasts of the LORD that were consecrated ,
and of every one that willingly offered a
freewill offering unto the LORD.
116Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- There it is mentioned with the Feasts again!
- Pretty important.
117Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Here we see it again in 1 Chron 23
- 27 For by the last words of David the Levites
were numbered from twenty years old and above 28
Because their office was to wait on the sons of
Aaron for the service of the house of the LORD,
in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the
purifying of all holy things, and the work of the
service of the house of God 29 Both for the
shewbread , and for the fine flour for meat
offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for
that which is baked in the pan, and for that
which is fried , and for all manner of measure
and size 30 And to stand every morning to thank
and praise the LORD, and likewise at even 31 And
to offer all burnt sacrifices unto the LORD in
the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set
feasts, by number, according to the order
commanded unto them, continually before the LORD
32 And that they should keep the charge of the
tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of
the holy place, and the charge of the sons of
Aaron their brethren, in the service of the house
of the LORD.
118Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- We see it all throughout Scripture time and time
again. - How does the Church get away with this?
- By throwing out anything Jewish.
119Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- You may not know anyone personally who hates
Jews, but dont kid yourself anti-Semitism is
alive and thriving. - Especially in the Church.
120Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Its taught in almost every major Bible College
out there. - The underlying message is this
- If it sounds Jewish, it probably aint right.
No Shabbat No Jewish Feasts No Jewish
Prayers No Kippas No Tallits No Tefillin No
Eating Kosher No New Moon Celebrations etc. etc.
etc.
121Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- II Chron. 31
- 1 After all this was over, all Isra'el who were
there went out to the cities of Y'hudah and
smashed the standing-stones, chopped down the
sacred poles, and broke down the high places and
altars throughout Y'hudah, Binyamin, Efrayim and
M'nasheh, until they had destroyed them all. Then
all the people of Isra'el returned to their own
cities, each to his own possession. 2 Hizkiyahu
re-established the divisions of the cohanim and
L'vi'im in accordance with the way the divisions
had been before, with each man assigned his task,
both the cohanim and the L'vi'im, for burnt
offerings and for peace offerings, to serve, to
give thanks and to praise at the gates of
ADONAI's camp. 3 He determined a portion of the
king's property to be given for the burnt
offerings, that is, for the morning and evening
burnt offerings and for burnt offerings on
Shabbats, Rosh-Hodesh and the designated times,
as prescribed by the Torah of ADONAI.
122Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Again, we see it mentioned with the Sabbath and
the Feasts. - It goes on and on, theres many passages on Rosh
Chodesh and man simply decided to throw G-ds
appointed times away.
123Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- You can begin to understand why G-d sees Pagan
festivals like Easter as an offense. - G-d gave us Holy Days to observe and man said,
Nah, I think Ill celebrate something else
instead. Ill pick a different day.
The goddess Easter
124Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- How dare we affront the Almighty G-d and wipe it
all away with statements like, Well, He knows
whats in my heart. - It doesnt matter whats in our heart if were
offending G-d it needs to stop.
125Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- BTW if its not in your heart to keep G-ds
appointed times then maybe your heart isnt as
good as you thought. - Something to think about.
126Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- Short video
- Then next slide
127Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
- The next Rosh Chodesh is this Tuesday.
- May G-d smile on you as you keep this mitzvah.
- Shabbat Shalom.
- Lets stand for the priestly blessing
128Messianic Judaism 101Class 5
129The End
