Where Helen lived

• She was born in Tuscumbia Alabama in the early
  1880s with two half brothers a sister and a dog.
  when she was 1and a half years old she got
  scarlet fever and became deaf and blind.

Helens family

• Helens father was a farmer that was named
  Arthur he had two wives after the first one died
  he married Kate Adams. Kate called him captain
  in addition to running his farm. Helen had two
  step brothers and one sister not including the
  dog. Helen was a playful person as a child before
  she became blind.

Helen was famous because

• She was famous because she over came her illness
  by age 8 she learned about other languages such
  as Latin, French and German.
