Subject and Object Pronouns
  • Pronouns have different forms, called cases, that
    show whether they are being used as subjects or
    objects.

  • Pronouns used as subjects or as predicates
    pronouns , which replace predicate nouns, are
    called subject pronouns.
  • They are in the nominative case.
  • I love great art.
  • A great artist is he.

  • Pronouns used as direct or indirect objects or as
    objects of the preposition are called object
    pronouns.
  • They are in the objective case.
  • Art fascinates me.
  • Ill lend him two brushes.
  • These two are for him.

Nominative Case

Objective Case
