UW and UMBC have led to improved poling
procedures resulting in electro-optic
coefficients gt150 pm/V for thick polymer films

telecommunication wavelengths has been achieved
using an AJTB203 polymer emitter-sensor pair
Atmospheric attenuation isgt 200 dB/km in the 0-9
THz band
