• Hair cutting using extensions
• Teaching cutting does not require a lot of money
  your program doesnt have!!!
• It takes a teacher with a lot of creativity and
  imagination!!!!!

Supplies

• What do you need?
• Bald manikins
• Hair extensions
• Scissors
• Rulers
• All purpose combs
• Wig pins

Directions

• Precut extension the length of the head from
  front hair line to bottom of nape hairline.
• Pin to the manikin using wig pins. Be sure to pin
  between the stitches so the swatch will stand up
  correctly

More directions

• Students will cut a 90 degree hair cut on the
  swatch. The finished cut will measure 4.
• Students will remove the pins from their swatch
  and lay it straight on the counter, using the
  ruler as a straight edge to check their work.

• Students will share their work and provide ideas
  for improvements

Advancing to the cut

• Cut swatch from ear to ear across the top of the
  head.
• Students will cut the swatch using 90 degree
  positions and 4 as the guideline .
• Check work as before.
