1
Clinical Application of Acupuncture Body
points For Lose Weight
2
Introduction
TCM holds that obesity is the imbalance of yin
and yang and the dysfunction of zangfu organs. It
is Ben deficiency with Biao excess, namely qi
deficiency accompanied with yin deficiency and
yang deficiency, and retention of phlegm
accompanied with blood stasis and qi stagnation.
The location of disease is in the spleen, and
kidney and liver.
3
Acupuncture is a process of regulating zangfu and
balancing yin and yang. Through the regulation of
channels and collaterals and the promotion of
spleen and kidney, the body resistance is
strengthened and the pathogenic factors in the
body are removed out. This process of reinforcing
and reducing make the patients appetite
decreased and the functions of stomach and
intestines and the mental conditions improved.

Different syndromes
  • Owing to the deferent individual conditions, the
causative factors of obesity are quite different,
so the treatment should be different. Based on

from mild to stronger. In order to enhance the
effect, try to use the current as strong as
    possible.
  • Generally, three courses of treatment should be
    given in succession.
  • In case the weight is losing, the interval
between the courses may be omitted.
  • When the effect is not continuously good, a rest
for one week can be suggested.
