• Thetis and Peleus were to get married
• Eris wasnt invited, so she made the golden apple
  of discord
• She went to the wedding

Eris at the Wedding

• Eris threw the apple to Hera, Athena, and
  Aphrodite.
• They asked Zeus to judge
• Instead, Paris judged them

The Judgment

• Paris has to judge Hera, Aphrodite, and Athena.
• They all offer him excellent rewards for choosing
  them
• He chooses Aphrodite, being the lusty man he is.

There Were Consequences

• Paris took Aphrodites offer, and he was rewarded
  with Helen of Troy.
• But, by doing this it caused the Trojan War.
