Block Credit Recognition in the VCE

• Nationally recognised VET at Certificate II or
  higher not available as an approved VCE VET and
  SBA program
• Credit determined by number of hours of training
  completed and AQF level of UoCs
• Student must be enrolled in the VCE
• No credit for Certificate I training
• Judgments on duplication
• Examples of popular areas include

• Transport and Distribution
• Retail
• General Education

School Based and Part time Apprenticeships

• NAP
• Credit arrangements exist for corresponding
  certificates in VCE VET programs (360 hrs Units
  1 4)
• 11 industry areas that are formally promoted
• Access to scored assessment as for VCE VET in
  selected programs
• VFE
• Any qualification that is able to be undertaken
  as an Apprenticeship or Traineeship can be school
  based or part time.

• Quality outcomes for students ensuring links to
