Living in a Dry Land
  • Pueblo people lived in the Southwest Desert
    region
  • Mostly hot and arid (dry), village way of life
    farming
  • Irrigation was used in order to farm corn, beans,
    squash, and cotton
  • Irrigation is building a system of ditches to
    bring water to an area
  • Pueblo farmers (Hopi Zuni)
  • Apache hunters
  • Navajo sheep raisers
