  • 3. Greet your teacher and friends and respond
    when others greet you.

  • 6. Walk quietly in a single file line in the
    hallway.

    manners.

AGENDAS
  • Each student should have an agenda to keep track
    of daily assignments.
  • The agendas need to be checked daily by parents.
  • Parents please check these every night to help
    the students stay on task and learn
    responsibility.

HOMEWORK
  • Homework will be assigned in 5th grade daily.
  • Check your students agenda nightly for homework
    assignments.
  • Homework Hotline, Teacher web pages, or Remind 101

ATTENDANCE
  • 740 AM-220 PM
  • To be an excused absence, a note must be sent in
    with a parent signature explaining the reason
    for the absence.
  • No bus changes.
  • Phone calls will not excuse an absence.
  • If absent, five days will be given for make-up
    work.
  • Car rider line will be locked at 740A.M. If
    arriving after that time, student must be checked
    in at the front office.

  • Georgia Writing Test March 5th, 2014
  • CRCT (Criterion Referenced Competency Test)
  • Reading April 9, 2014
  • Language Arts April 10, 2014
  • Math April 15, 2014
  • Science April 16, 2014
  • Social Studies April 17, 2014
  • Students must meet standards in reading and math
    in order to be promoted to 6th grade
  • Interim Assessments Twice a year in Math and
    Language Arts
