• One of the first nebula I ever saw
• One of the main reasons I am now interested in
  astronomy
• First extra-solar object I ever researched (5th
  grade)

Information on the Horse head

• The Horse head itself is known as Barnard 33
• The nebula was first recorded in 1888 by
  Williamina Fleming on photographic plate B2312
  taken at the Harvard College Observatory

• Surrounded by emission nebulae IC434 and NGC 2024
  as well as reflection nebula NGC 2023
