could not behold because a cloud of glorious

exist. Before the throne I saw the advent people,
the church and the world and I saw two

companies, one bowed down before the throne
deeply interested while the others stood
uninterested and careless. Those who were bowed
before the throne will offer up their prayers and
look to Jesus then he will look to his Father and
appear to be pleading with him. A light will come
from the Father to the Son and from the son to
the praying company. Then I saw an exceeding
bright light come from the father to the son and
from the son, It waved over the people before the
throne but a few will receive this great light

Many came out from under it and immediately
resisted it, others were careless and did not
cherish the light and it was removed from them.
it went and bowed down with the little praying
company. This company all received the light and
rejoiced in it and their countenance shone in its
glory. I saw the father rise from the throne and
in a flaming chariot go into the holy of holies
within the vail and sit down then Jesus rose up
from the throne and most of those who were bowed

Indiana, the Lord has shown me would take place

thing will be demonstrated. There will be
shouting, with drums, music and noise. The senses
of rational beings will become so confused that
they cannot be trusted to make right decisions A
bedlam of noise shocks the senses and perverts
that which if conducted aright might be a
blessings. The powers of Satanic agencies blend
with the din and the noise to have a carnival,
and this is termed as the Holy Spirit

Fanaticism, false excitement, false talking in
tongues, and noisy exercises have bee considered
gifts which God has placed in the church. Some
have been deceived here. The fruits of all this
have not been good. Ye shall know them by their
fruits. Fanaticism and noise have been
considered special evidence of faith. Some are
not satisfied with a meeting unless they have a
powerful happy time. They work for this and get
up an excitement of feeling. But the influence of
such meeting is not beneficial. When the happy
flight of the feeling is gone they sink lower
that before the meetings because their happiness
did not come from the right source

not to forget the past dealing of God with His

expressed in the seven thunders was a delineation
of events which would transpire under the first
and second angels messages. It was best not for
the people to know these things for their faith
must necessarily be tested. In the order of God
most wonderful and advanced truths were to be
proclaimed, but no further light was to be

The First Angels Message
The Advent movement of the 1840-1844 was a
glorious manifestation of the power of God the
first and second angels message was carried to
every missionary station in the world. GC 611

Second Angels Message
As the churches rejected refused to receive the
first angels message, they rejected the light
from heaven and fell from favour of God. They
trusted in their own strength and by opposing the
first angels message placed themselves were they
could not see the light of the second angels
message. But the beloved of God who were
oppressed and accepted the message Babylon is
fallen, and the left the churches. (EW 237)
In June 1842 MR Miller gave his second course
of lectures at the Casco street in Portland
Maine with few exceptions, the different
denominations closed the doors of the Churches to

Third Angels Message
At the ministration of the Jesus closed in the
Holy place, and he passed into the holies, and
stood before the ark containing the law of God,
He sent another mighty angel with a third message
to the world. A parchment was placed in the
angels hand, and he descended to the earth in
power and majesty, he proclaimed a fearful
warning, with the most terrible threatening ever
borne to man. EW P254

God has given the messages of Revelation14 their
place in the line of prophecy, and their work is
not to cease till the close of this earths
history. The first and second angels messages
are still truth for this time, and are to run
parallel with this which follows. The third angel
proclaims his warning with a loud voice. After
these things, said John, I saw another angel
come down from heaven, having great power, and
the earth was lightened with his glory. In this
illumination, the light of all the three messages

Third angels message will not be comprehended
There is to be in the Seventh Day Adventist
churches a wonderful manifestation of the power
of God, but it will not move upon those who have
not humbled themselves before the Lord, and
opened the door of the heart by confession and
repentance. In the manifestation of that power
which lightens the earth with the glory of God,
they will see only something which in their
blindness they think dangerous, something which
will arose their fears, and they will brace
themselves to resist it. Because the Lord does
not walk according to their ideas and
expectations they will appose the work. Why,
they say, should we not know the Spirit of God,
when we have been in the work so many years?

• In a special sense Seventh Day Adventists have
  been set in the world as light bearers. To them
  has been entrusted the last warning for a
  perishing world. On them is shining a wonderful
  light from God. They have been given a work of
  the most solemn important the proclamation of
  the first, second and third angels messages.

• The influence of these messages has been
  deepening and widening, setting in motion the
  springs of action in thousands of hearts,
  bringing into existence institutions of learning,
  publishing houses, and health institutions all
  these are the instrumentalities of God to
  co-operate in the grand work represented by the
  first, second, and third angels flying in the
  midst of heaven to warn the inhabitants of the
  world that Christ is coming again with power and
  great glory. The prophet says, "I saw another
  angel come down from heaven, having great power
  and the earth was lightened with his glory. And
  he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying,
  Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is
  become the habitation of devils." This is the
  same message that was given by the second angel.
  Babylon is fallen, "because she made all nations
  drink of the wine of the wrath of her
  fornication." What is that wine?--Her false
  doctrines. She has given to the world a false
  Sabbath instead of the Sabbath of the fourth
  commandment, and has repeated the falsehood that
  Satan first told to Eve in Eden.--the natural
  immortality of the soul. Many kindred errors she
  has spread far and wide, "teaching for doctrines
  the commandments of men."
