PowerPoint Y7 Music Rap Module Overview
This 6-lesson scheme of work and accompanying
lesson materials are designed to build on skills
and knowledge that learners gain in the Y7 music
curriculum and extend and transfer them to their
language learning. The Spanish module is
designed to follow on from the music rap module
rather than be taught concurrently, and it is not
a problem if there is a time lag between
completion of the music rap module and beginning
of this one. With these lesson materials, I have
included an overview of the music SOW for
reference, as well as a scene-setting powerpoint
highlighting some of the key benefits of singing
for learning. There is also a student workbook
to accompany all 6 lessons of the Spanish module
this should be reduced to A5 booklet size.
