• As part of the Elevate America effort, Microsoft
  is providing one million Microsoft Learning
  vouchers for no cost access to Microsoft
  eLearning courses and select Microsoft
  certification exams as part of our work to help
  train 2 million people over the next three years.
  
• Elevate America will help governments across the
  U.S. accelerate the workforce readiness of
  individuals through a selection of the most
  relevant training and certification programs

Microsoft Elevate America Vouchers

• Focus on expanding skills for most careers
• Windows XP or Vista/Office 2003 or 2007
• 500,000 e-learning vouchers nationwide
• Vouchers allocated per State based on WIA
  allocation formula
• Must be activated by the citizen within 90-days,
  12 months of use
• Once activated, citizen has 12 months of
  access/use
• User selected collection of courses on a topic
  (Word, Excel, etc)
• Or user selected collection of IT Professional
  and Technical learning (Server 2008, SQL Server,
  etc)
• 500,000 Microsoft Business Certification exams
  nationwide
• Vouchers allocated per State based on WIA adult
  allocation formula
• Exams are for Intermediate level only (Office
  2003 2007)
• Must be activated and used within 90-days of
  state receiving codes
• Proctoring fees may apply at some test centers
• Recommend that all facilities become Certiport
  Testing Centers
