8. OPTON SOFTWARE

• Opton is Stylitis-10s free operating software.
  Via Opton you can
• Create Site folders and Connections. Each
  datalogger has its unique folder, while multiple
  (different types of) connections can be created
  for the logger. The different connection types
  correspond to the communication methods,
  discussed before.
• Modify its Setup Channel parameters (they can be
  set manually or automatically, by selecting a
  specific sensor from Optons sensor library),
  recording interval, GPRS settings, SMS and Email
  settings, etc.
• Optionally, receive SMSs and Emails. Receive the
  daily data file via Email. (Available in both the
  GSM and the Ethernet version). Receive SMSs (GSM
  version) the average channel values every
  interval or every day, an alarm if a control
  output changes state, or a PhotoVoltaic (PV)
  alarm indicating faulty operation in a solar
  plant with multiple inverters.
• Alternatively, in dynamic IP GRPS connections
  (via Diameson server) and in the Ethernet version
  (also via Diameson), instead of SMS, data and
  alarms can be sent to a web database, Captum, to
  a specific user account and to this accounts
  email. Interval data and alarms can be plotted in
  Captum, alarms can be shown in a table, while
  data statistics are presented in bar graphs per
  hour, per day of the month, per day of the week
  and per month.
• View the loggers status Instant parameters,
  such as the current file, the recording time
  remaining, etc.
• View the instant channel values.
• Enable/ disable data acquisition to create data
  files, stored in the 4MB memory.
• Download data files, which are stored in the
  loggers memory in compressed form. They are
  stored and decompressed automatically in the site
  folder, to be viewed via a text editor. Download
  the recent file (a new file begins) or one or
  more previous files at once.
• View an Online plot of the channel values. All
  samples are plotted (every second).
• Manage the downloaded data files offline view
  the datachannels plot and statistics (the
  sameones presented in Captum), check the
  integrity of a folders files (check for missing
  or duplicate records or if the interval is the
  same for all files).

10. AUTOCONNECT SOFTWARE

• As stated before, data files can be downloaded
  manually, via Opton, via any connection.
• However, data download, along with other actions
  as well, can be preformed automatically, in a
  regular basis, via the additional free software
  AutoConnect.
• The datalogger can perform a different action
  each weekday
• Download Data All data files missing from the
  folder.
• Download Status Instant parameters, such as the
  current file, the recording time remaining, etc.
• Download Current Values. Get the instant channel
  values.
• The selected action of a weekday can be performed
  once a day at a specific selected time, or
  infinite connections can be made that weekday
  every as many minutes as you wish.
• Besides editing the auto connections (like in
  Opton) via AutoConnects interface, you can
• View a list of all your automatic connections and
  execute one or more manually.
• Check each connections latest status, ie if it
  succeeded, or failed and why.
• View the date and time of last connection and
  last successful download for each one.
