10Example Starting in WI 2006
- Suppose OSU has indicated that MATH123 matches
the learning outcomes of OTM001 - Suppose CSCC has indicated that MTH 166 matches
the learning outcomes of OTM001 - Suppose WSUN has indicated that MTHM101 and
MTHM102 together match the learning outcomes of
OTM001 - WSUN also has indicated that MTHM200 matches the
learning outcomes of OTM 001 - Suppose I take MTH166 at CSCC in AU2005 no
match! - Suppose I take MTH166 at CSCC in WI2006 and apply
to transfer to WSU and OSU after SP2006 - ATC supplements my transcript destined for OSU
with OTM001 and MATH123 information - ATC supplements my transcript destined for WSUN
with OTM001 and MTHM101 and MTHM102 information
as well as MTHM200
11Doesnt CAS already do this?
- CAS provides similar information for planning
purposes - ATC provides support for official transcript
exchange when a student moves between campuses - We will continue to address the overall Ohio
Transfer and Articulation Architecture with CAS

18Campus Interface Strategy
- Heavy reliance on campus expertise
- Will utilize a pilot group of campuses
- ATC will support multiple mechanisms to connect
ATC with campus SIS - Project will use existing products and tools for
data extraction as much as possible - Final direction will depend on institutional
factors - Type of SIS and overall institutional IT
environment - Expect volatility in this arena with SIS and
separate vendors both capable of producing PESC
XML - Board of Regents has funding to support some
institutional work

ATC. - Contains OAN and OTM information generated by the
ATC. - Currently in working draft form.
- Will work with XML Pilot Group and SIS interface
vendors to determine formatting. - ATC Supplement Implementation Guide Review
