- Has 60 Clubs with 3,700 Rotarians
- We encompass 9 Counties Austin, Brazoria,
Colorado, Fort Bend, Harris, Waller, Washington,
Matagorda, and Wharton - There are 9 Districts in
- Texas and part of another.
16Basic District Leadership
- Each district is governed by a District Governor.
He or She is the only Official Rotary
International Officer for that district. - The District Governor serves for one year.

- Each Governor appoints several assistant
Governors to help them oversee the clubs - This year we have 6 Lieutenant Governors who
assist 2-3 Assistant Governors. - WE have17 Assistant Governors (AGs). Each AG is
assigned to 2-4 clubs

Rotarys Goals

- Unlike other organization, attendance at Rotary
meetings is not an option.We are expected to
attend. - Attend your club meeting or the meeting of
another Rotary Club within 14 days of your missed
meeting.
40Why We Stress Attendance
- Attendance at meeting assures us of quality
programs. - Allows us to meet our meeting place minimums and
keep costs down. - Allows us to take advantage of prepaid meals.
- Gives us the opportunity to network and become
involved in the service activities of the club.
41Financial Cost
- You must pay Annual Club Dues.
From these dues your clubs pays dues for you
to Rotary International and to your District. - If meals are served at your meetings you must
also pay that cost. - Additional activities/Events 200/year estimate
- It is estimated that minimum Rotarian expenses
will be between 850 --1,250/yr.

- Some members feel one of the most enjoyable
things we get out of Rotary is the opportunity to
make new friends outside our usual realm of
activity. - And of course we get to join with these new
friends in service and fellowship
