  deserve it, God has bestowed His favor
  (ultimately salvation) on us.

Without faith, baptism is meaningless!

What about faith only passages?

• Eph. 29, not of works lest anyone should
  boast.
• Does this nullify our need to do something in
  obedience?
• No!

• Eph. 28-9, Again, the context is grace! Pauls
  point is we cannot EARN our salvation!
• Even when you obey God you have not earned
  salvation (it is still His grace)

• What about passages that only mention belief?
• John 316, 824, Acts 44, 942, etc.
• They do NOT nullify baptism. The term believe
  is inclusive of all one must do.

• What if every text dealing with salvation had to
  mention every step every time?
• The Bible would be much longer and redundant.
• And it wouldnt say anymore than it does right
  now!

• IF believe means, only believe or faith only,
  then what about all the other passages in
  scripture that mention MORE than mere belief?
• IF believe or faith can be inclusive, then
  scripture complements itself!
