THE BEGINING

• The roots of the Intellectual Property in Egypt
  go to 1951 by the law 132/1949
• 1971 indicates the existence of the EgPO within
  the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology
  (ASRT)
• Egypt is a member of WIPO since 1975
• The new protected area was added by the new law
  82/2002
