23How do we apply for TE funds?
- Which pot of TE should we apply for?
- The Regional (RTIP) Share
- Regional Transportation Planning Agencies
RTPA) receive 75 of Californias TE funds and
choose when and how they select projects. -
24Caltrans ITIP Share
- Caltrans selects STIP TE projects from districts
or other HQ programs. - Projects may be enhancements to normal
transportation projects to take advantage of
particular community or environmental enhancement
opportunities. - Projects are recommended by a 5-member committee
with the final selection determined by the
Caltrans Directors office.
