  • Do your best every day

Promotion Policy
  • All three trimester report cards count
  • A student who fails more than one class for the
    year will not promote to high school
  • A student may make up an F grade by completing a
    course recovery program

In-School Detention
  • If you are not behaving appropriately in class
  • Sent there for the rest of the period
  • Also serve a lunch detention
  • 3 ISD ADIS parent meeting behavior contract

Suspension
  • The following will result in automatic suspension
  • Drugs or alcohol (even if you just touch it)
  • Weapons, guns, knives (even if you didnt
    remember the knife was there or only held it
    briefly)
  • Fireworks
  • Fights/Assault
  • Sexual Harassment
  • Dont get involved at all just walk away!

  • When people are late they are a distraction to
    others.
  • Tardies are tracked by period and are cumulative
    each trimester.
  • In your seat, ready to work when the bell rings

Dress Code
  • No references to drugs, alcohol, tobacco, sex,
    or violent or demeaning behavior.
  • No pajama pants or bare feet.
  • No sagging. Pants must be worn at hips
  • No exposed cleavage, torso, or upper thigh
    (skirts/shorts must come to the fingers)
  • Tank top straps must be 3 inches or wider
  • No muscle shirts
  • Just remember When in doubt, dont

    who knowingly provides the work to cheat from,

  • Borrowing someones homework
  • Consequences are
  • First offense referral zero on the
    assignment/test
  • Future offense (any time at CMS) suspension
  • Be responsible for your own work!

Cafeteria Rules
  • You may only stand in line if you are buying
    lunch
  • Enter the hot lunch line by walking AROUND the
    outside of the tables
  • You MUST sit down when you are in the
    cafeteriaif you are standing up, you must leave.

The GREEN areas are OPEN during lunch. All other
areas are OFF LIMITS. To access one of our
supervised areas you may walk through a non-green
zone. Students found loitering in unsupervised
(non-green) areas will be given a referral and
lunch detention.

Quiet Quad
You may not wander from room to room. Once you
have selected a room to visit during lunch please
remain there.

Athletics
  • Is an earned privilege.
  • To be eligible for a CMS team, on the most recent
    trimester grade report you must have
  • At least a 2.0 GPA
  • No Fs
  • No more than 1 U citizenship grades
  • You will need to keep your grades up and be on
    your best behavior all year to represent CMS in
    athletics!
