1- School education in indigenous cultures.
The main role of school in the indigenous
villages is 1- Ensuring the protection and
preservation of culture. 2- stimulating the
recovery of traditions, especially in some ethnic
groups (the great proposal of the State of São
Paulo Indigenous Course) 3- Bringing to the
indigenous peoples knowledge, like for instance,
of their constitutional rights.

2- The challenges of the indigenous school
education.
(A) One of the challenges of the schools is
arriving to an adequate indigenous school
education where tradition, the knowledge of
elders and the knowledge of the non-indigenous
are respected. (B) The greater challenge of the
indigenous school is to bring awareness to the
community itself of the importance of this
integration in some ethnic groups.

4 - How the Guarani people educated their
children and how they are educated today.
  • The traditional education the Guarani children
    are educated by their daily life and by the
    social integration of the community.
  • Update traditional/school education the Guarani
    children are educated by the indigenous teachers
    through the classes and the indigenous school. In
    general, they are multidisciplinar classes
    (generating themes).
