Description

• Precision ground steel blocks with dimensions of
  1 x 2 x 3
• Available in both solid and perforated style
• Perforated blocks include both tapped and plain
  holes
• Blocks are oversized for normal lapping to
  0.0003
• Squareness on all sides commonly to a tolerance
  of 0.0001

Cleaning and Storage

• Blocks are located in cabinet 7 Manual Mill
  tools, 2nd drawer from the bottom
• Blocks should be cleaned in an organic solvent,
  such as mineral spirits, as needed
• It is recommended that steel gauge blocks be
  coated (WD40) to prevent rust when the work area
  relative humidity exceeds 50
• Hands should be washed to reduce corrosion from
  food acids and salts
