2To Access Cornerstone Language Arts
Click on the ESL folder on the Desktop followed
by the Writing folder. Click on the Cornerstone
Icon.
To begin the program, click Take an activity as a
GUEST.

Select Choose a lesson in Level C
Click on one of four main topics to begin.

Click on the down arrow (if there is one) for a
complete list of lessons.

5Cornerstone Choosing Lessons
Once youve selected a main subject, choose a
lesson within that subject.
Put your headphones on there is audio!
6Cornerstone Help Button
Click the Help button at any time for directions
on how to complete an exercise.
7Cornerstone Completing a lesson
Before each lesson or quiz, you are given
instructions on how to complete that activity.
8Cornerstone Reviewing Scores
View your scores and review the questions you got
wrong when you have completed a lesson.
Record your scores on a piece of paper, to
compare at a later time.
9Cornerstone Reviewing Scores
Once you have reviewed all of your incorrect
answers you will choose the Done button return
to the main screen.
To begin another lesson, Choose a lesson in
level C.
10Cornerstone Posttests
See the progress youve made at the end of a
lesson by taking the posttest. Compare your
pretest score (which you had previously written
down) with your posttest score to see your
improvement.
Review percentages and scores.
11Cornerstone Language ArtsExiting
To close the program, click Exit. Note Your
information will not be saved. If you would
like a record, please remember to write your
scores down.
