• Market positives broad skills for 21st century
  rehab, wellness, injury prevention, can work in
  multiple modelsperfect for integrated care
  models, high-ROI to employers and h.c. system,
  ability and willingness to change? Reasonable/low
  salaries will attract employers (and increase
  demand so salaries increase)
• Market negatives poor consumer access, poor
  awareness by consumers (because of poor consumer
  access), limiting statutes, KSA taught are too
  broad for baccalaureate?
• Physical therapists
• Market positives good consumer access, broad
  skills, workforce shortage, broad range of
  skills, everyone knows them, could work PTAs in
  wellness, rehab?
• Market negatives high price to
  consumers/reimbursers, high salaries, stuck in
  fee-for-service, long education program

  knows them, little regulation
• Market negatives no consistent education, not
  qualified to do post rehab (but will do it), no
