15Intervention and Extension Programs
- GATE/Advanced To provide an opportunity to
interact with gifted peers in a learning
environment, GATE/Advanced students are placed in
cluster classes which are available in both
Language Arts and Mathematics at each grade
level. In addition, GATE exploratory classes are
scheduled throughout the year to provide
enrichment opportunities. - Resource Program Students requiring Specialized
Academic Instruction, will have their needs met
through collaborative and pull-out models. - Special Day Classes Available in all core
subjects for identified students. - Language Arts Intervention An additional period
of language arts skills support is an available
option in lieu of an exploratory class. - Mathematics Intervention An additional period
of math skills support is an available option in
lieu of an exploratory class.

socializing, playing - This is the only break during the day

bring cell phones to school - Cell phones should be turned off and kept in back
packs to avoid class disruptions and/or
