  conditions and scoring procedures
• Achievement (content ex Terra Nova)
• Diagnostic (strengths/weaknesses)
• Intelligence (abstract reasoning/problem solving)
• Aptitude (potential for learning)

Descriptive Statistics

• Frequency Distribution - at each score
• Mean average
• Mode most frequent score
• Median middle score
• Range distance between highest and lowest score
• Standard Deviation variability of scores

• Percentage - of correct items compared to the
  total number of items
• Percentile ranking that compares one student to
  all the others that have taken the assessment
