  we speak with the authority of the Coast Guard

• Public Affairs, as used by the United States
  Coast Guard Auxiliary, is a proactive effort to
  provide factual and truthful information about
  Coast Guard Activities and/or Auxiliary
  activities to the public using available print
  and electronic media to generate a generally
  favorable impression of the service to the
  public.

• Every Time we have contact with the public, we
  are performing this proactive PA role.
• We communicate the Auxiliary core messages to
  the public at all times.
