• If Sherlock Holmes has lived nowadays, he would
  use computers in his work. Methods that he used
  before, would be set up at new programs in the
  computer. His famous deductive method would be
  the basis of his work. If Sherlock Holmes had had
  a computer earlier, he would have classified all
  the information in the tables of Excell, Power
  Point would have been of great help to him to see
  possible development of events. He would surely
  have liked Word Office to type everything not to
  write it with a pen or a pencil. Various
  diagnostic test such as medical psychological
  analyses of things and cases, would be very
  convenient and necessary.
• Instead of paper-notebooks Sherlock Holmes would
  have gladly carried an electronic notebook and
  used it everywhere as possible.

The War of the Roses was the end of the medieval
England. Coming to the throne in 1485 of the
dynasty of Tudor is the beginning of New Time in
the English history.

• The event was called the War of the Roses
• The Wars of the Roses (14551485) were a series
  of dynastic civil wars fought in England between
  supporters of the Houses of Lancaster and York.
  Although armed clashes had occurred previously
  between supporters of Lancastrian King Henry VI
  and Richard, Duke of York, head of the rival
  House of York, the first open fighting broke out
  in 1455 and resumed more violently in 1459. Henry
  was captured and Richard became Protector of
  England, but was dissuaded from claiming the
  throne. Inspired by Henry's Queen, Margaret of
  Anjou, the Lancastrians resumed the conflict, and
  Richard was killed in battle at the end of 1460.
  His eldest son was proclaimed King Edward IV
  after winning a crushing victory at the Battle of
  Towton early in 1461
