• 1Let not your heart be troubled you believe in
  God, believe also in Me.
• 2 In My Fathers house are many mansions if it
  were not so, I would have told you. I go to
  prepare a place for you.
• 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I
  will come again and receive you to Myself that
  where I am, there you may be also.
• 4 And where I go you know, and the way you
  know.
• 5 Thomas said to Him, Lord, we do not know where
  You are going, and how can we know the way?
• 6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth,
  and the life. No one comes to the Father except
  through Me.

Introduction

• Christ does not simply show the way He is the
  Way.
• He does not simply reveal truth He is Truth.
• He does not simply give life He is Life.
• All the concepts and abstractions are turned into
  the person Christ.

THE WAY OUT

• OF BONDAGE
• Today you have proclaimed the Lord to be your
  God, and that you will walk in His ways and keep
  His statutes, His commandments, and His
  judgments, and that you will obey His voice.
  (Deut. 2617).

THE WAY OUT

• For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But
  the way of the ungodly shall perish. (Psalm 16).
• Show me Your ways, O Lord Teach me Your paths.
  (Psalms 254).
• Teach me Your way, O Lord, And lead me in a
  smooth path, because of my enemies. (Psalms
  2711).

THE TRUTH

• GUIDES US IN LIVING OUR LIVES. (i.e. The giving
  of the law at mount Sinai).
• GIVES US THE POWER TO LIVE A LIFE PLEASING TO
  GOD. (i.e. the settling into the Promised Land of
  Canaan).

THE WAY (NT)

• and asked letters from him to the synagogues of
  Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the
  Way, whether men or women, he might bring them
  bound to Jerusalem. (Acts 92).

• But when some were hardened and did not believe,
  but spoke evil of the Way before the multitude,
  he departed from them and withdrew the disciples,
  reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus. (Acts
  199).

THE TRUTH

• IS ASSOCIATED WITH GODS ESSENTIAL NATURE.
• .who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and
  worshiped and served the creature rather than the
  Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. (Rom.
  125).

• IS ASSOCIATED WITH CHRIST
• As the truth of Christ is in me, no one shall
  stop me from this boasting in the regions of
  Achaia (2 Cor. 1110)
• if indeed you have heard Him and have been
  taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus (Eph.
  421)

• IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SPIRIT
• the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot
  receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows
  Him but you know Him, for He dwells with you and
  will be in you. (John 1417)
• But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to
  you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who
  proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.
  (John 1526).

THE LIFE

• IS ASSOCIATED WITH CHRIST.
• He who has the Son has life he who does not
  have the Son of God does not have life (1 John
  512).
• Let not your heart be troubled you believe in
  God, believe also in Me (John 141).
