Right-Hand Rule

• Grasp conductor with right hand, thumb pointing
  in the direction of conventional current flow
• Fingers curl in the direction of magnetic field
  (lines of flux)

• Grasp the coil with the right hand, fingers
  curled in the direction of current
• Thumb points in the direction of the magnetic
  field
