Celebration!End of Year Party
  • Math WebQuest
  • Adapted from Alex Heil

2
Introduction
  • You are in charge of the party! We need pizza,
drinks, tableware, and snacks. However, it is all
up to your group to decide what to get and how
much to spend. Stay within your budget and maybe
your party plan will be the one we will use for
our End of the Year Party!

3
Task
  • Your group is planning an End of the Year
Celebration. Of course, everything has to be
planned within a budget. You have 200 to spend.
Each member in the group will be divided into a
    different task pizza planner, soda/tableware
planner, snack planner, and budget manager.

4
Task continued
  • All things must be approved by the budget
manager. At the end of the project, all groups
will present their ideas. The class will vote and
    we will have a celebration.

5
Task continued
  • You want your party plan to win because that
means your group will receive an extra 10 points
to the final project grade (2nd place will
